NTS always wishes to demonstrate democratic ways of administration among students, to manage things on their own. In order to show our children how elections are conducted, the management planned to conduct elections to choose their leaders in various fields, such as the school Captain, the Vice Captain, the sports Captain and the House Captains of respective houses.

The names of the contestants were written on the board of each classroom and the children choose the respective person for the post and they wrote the names of the concerned students for the posts and dropped the paper into the ballot box. After the election, the ballot papers were taken to the principal's office and there they were counted and the names of the winners were announced.

The school held the Investiture ceremony for the students on 17th, July 2011 with great enthusiasm. S. Venkata Rao DSP, DTC Visakhapatnam was the Chief Guest. The ceremony started with unfurling of the school flag followed by school prayer. The School Captain Master R. Sri Krishna along with their team of office bearers took the pledge to hold the school motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem and to deliver their duties to the best of their abilities and honour the trust bestowed upon them. Chief Guest Mr. S. Venkata Rao, Dy. Director Dr. Pullarao along with Principal Mr. K. Martin pinned the badges on the shoulders of these newly elected office bearers.

The Chief Guest in his valuable message guided the Office Bearers to perform their tasks and responsibilities with utmost sincerity and diligence. The Dy. Director Dr. Pullarao inspired the students to develop the qualities of leadership in themselves and stressed upon the need of assuming responsibilities by each one in the best interest of the school. The ceremony concluded with National Anthem.
